Early Learning and Child Care Programs in Southern Alberta
A non-profit organization founded in Calgary in 1985, les centres Envol & Boussole offers early learning and child care programs in French for children from Franco-Albertan families.
Envol & Boussole offers 4 distinct programs.
The programming in our centres follows Flight: Alberta’s Early Learning and Care Curriculum.
Early Childhood Program
The early childhood program offers a childcare setting where every child enjoys a safe environment in which to explore, develop and make meaningful discoveries.
Preschool Program
With its preschool program, Envol & Boussole promotes the socialization and development of children in a stimulating and caring environment.
Out-of-School Care Program
From September to June, the out-of-school care program welcomes children outside school hours and on non-instructional days.
Summer Camp Program
As soon as classes end, our summer camp program takes over, offering school-age children a dynamic and friendly environment during the summer holidays.

Playing outside is good for everyone’s health. The regular schedule includes two periods of outdoor play adapted to the needs and interests of the children.
Exploring in French
All activities at Envol & Boussole are conducted in French, enabling children to constantly improve their knowledge of the language.

Open House Days
Whether you’re a future or new parent and/or interested in our programs, we invite you to come and discover the environment and staff of our learning centres. Our open houses take place every Thursday between 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m., from September to June.
Please note that open houses are suspended during the summer season.
